Elangeni TVET College is a
Technical and Vocational Education and Training institute. Situated in and
around Durban, KwaZulu Natal. We provide higher education learning supported by
the South African Department of Higher Education and Learning. We also approved
by the South African Bureau of Standards.
We offer full-time, part-time and long
distance learning with a range of programmes from eight of our campuses. We
provide bursary programs including the National Students Financial Aid Scheme
(NSFAS) and other financial support services.
WHO IS THE STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL?
A Student
Representative Council (SRC) is a group of students elected by their peers to
represent all students within the school. SRC's work democratically to
represent the student body in school decision-making and organise ways for
students to participate in and enjoy school life.
Our SRC is designed to foster college spirit and leadership among students. The members of the SRC change each year to maintain a fresh approach and a strong student voice within the school. Members are leaders who help to create and nurture constructive ideas within the school community. They are approachable students who are representatives of our student body.
